it just kind of struck me but... how much is intelligence actually valued? it feels like my whole life i’ve always valued that to a ridiculous degree personally, to the point where i feel vulnerable and insecure and like nothing if in anyway it’s even just implied i’m dumb. 

but reading some other people’s anecdotes, i don’t know... how many people are just fine with not being smart? with being average intelligence but being defined by their kindness, their ability to be hardworking, their social intelligence, like...???

It got me thinking... People around me, my friends who are my age, are either getting married and/or pregnant. Then I look at myself and I'm nowhere near any of those things. 

Is there something wrong with me? I don't think so, and I'm not dying to be married. I would love to find someone who likes me just the way I am, only wants to have sex with me and we will hang out together until we both drop dead.

While I would love to have that, I have a hard time deciding my favourite colour. I have three and I can never decide which one I like best. 

How do people commit to one person for the rest of their lives while I'm struggling to decide what shade of red nail polish should I use next? 

This is insane. 

Also, I'm not upset. I'm just curious. How do people do it? How do you decide that this one person shall be the one I hang out and eat dinners with forever?

But I hate to qualify her as a villain, so I'm going with Lex Luthor (who I also have feelings about), because he was the first villain I was interested in.
