CJ Cregg's first scene in the show has her really trying to convince someone she's a Normal Person who can have a Normal Relationship and every now and I sit and think about the implications of that in any queer headcanon about her. She spends a lot of time trying to Be Normal and getting confronted with the fact that people, even those who love her, just don't think she is. And by the end of the show she's still in that place, and grabs the chance to Prove how Normal she is with two hands and she's married with a kid on the way within a year or so and what could be more Normal. She did it. Look at her. No one thought she could and she did. And it's a little tragic sometimes.
