Watching Owen hunt try to coerce Christina into having kids and then getting pissed off at her because she still doesn’t want them is rage inducing every time.
I do like how they cut out on the jokes targeting Manow's weight.
Gentle reminder that fictional characters are exactly that and shaming/belittling someone for liking someone who isn’t real is horrible and you’re the problem. no matter how “bad” you think the character is it shouldn’t encourage you to attack and harass real, living human beings . They’re allowed their own space just as much as you’re allowed your own. Stop policing people and their interests and mind your own instead.
I’m not the anon who said they’re reading A Little Lifr but it’s on my list and now I’m.... worried! Do you mind telling me what you would put for trigger warnings?
theres a comprehensive list over here (much more comprehensive than i could put together): https://www.goodreads.com/questions/1722169-what-are-the-trigger-warnings-for-this
to give context to those (many) trigger warnings, a little life is about how the childhood trauma of one man affects his adult life and his relationships with the people around him. the trauma is explored in detail and in genuinely scary ways, but i also found so much beauty and love and complexity inside of his adult friendships
(if you don’t mind light spoilers, i like this article interview with antoni porowski from queer eye where he and the interviewer talk about their relationship with the book. i think it gives an accurate sense what the experience is like for the readers who do love it)
remember thirteen? what an iconic fucking movie....
please stop posting / reblogging videos of the funeral / those who attended.
