Need to start propagandizing teenagers to join clubs again. Some teens locked my 90something great grandma in her house last week by propping a branch against her only accessible door after going on a spree through her neighborhood of kicking in doors for the fuck of it. My whole family lives in Florida— a stand-your-ground state (meaning it is legal to kill anyone who enters your property if you have reasonable suspicion of ill intent), and those kids were on a one way bus to getting shot. Wouldn’t happen if they were in mathletes.

Yes. Would you prefer to say all of my names and titles every time you wanted to reference me? In the last ten thousand years or so I accrued quite a few, had to get some pronouns to make it easier, as much as I like watching people die of dehydration every time they want to reference me in conversation. You know? Let them say "you", and "he", and all the rest.

just randomly started thinking about the time my friend, who i had not spoken to in months, decided to come out of hiding on valentine’s day to confess their (past? it was unclear) feelings for me in a long paragraph text and ended it by saying i didn’t need to respond. but when i decided to take some time to process the information and didn’t respond, they copied and pasted the same exact message into my tumblr dms the next day, implying actually they really wanted a response. and then when i finally responded a couple days later they just resumed ghosting me and that’s the last i ever heard from them.
