Ephemer has accrued the nickname little lamb. He doesnt… he pretends not to like it, because it’s silly and cutesy, but he‘s secretly very fond of it! Also, I enjoy the headcanon that Brain and Ava were friends, but I really like the idea that Ephemer and Ava were friends. If Brain had known her before, Ephemer waltzed into Vulpes and immediately radiated so much soft precocious energy that Ava went Oh? Friend? Oh? Ava’s actually pretty young, only a few years older than him, but he kind of keeps her grounded and they share secrets and observations and how, maybe, to improve the general morale in the union. She let out a huge sigh of relief when she saw the list and went to him first bc she knows he’s observant, and even if he’s not good at being strict, he’s a natural at leadership and communication.
