Wow. Felt like it's been a month, but apparently just a week, huh.
(gonna vent about how things were for me, so scroll if you don't to see another "all is gloom and doom" post).
Human psyche works in a funny and interesting way - I don't have it nearly as bad as people in Ukraine, and yet I feel so miserable and helpless. Before this happened I've rarely checked the news bc they tend to worsen my already not exactly good mental state. Now I'm checking invasion related news almost non-stop, which is bad, I know, but can't help myself. And every time I check the news it only gets worse, and I feel more and more helpless. I try to stop and do other things, but this never really leaves my mind (even in sleep, wow), and knowing that things aren't getting better doesn't help.
Sanctions and all that stuff are crippling our economy. Ruble is worth pretty much nothing, and since I never had savings in dollars, I'm now even poorer than before (not that having dollars would help, getting access to them is difficult rn); many companies stop operating here; no more SWIFT for many banks (not all, but high possibility they'll get there soon); no Apple Pay or Google Pay for us; and many other restrictions and sanctions. If I thought I lived bad before, now it's gonna be even worse.
Airspace is closed in many countries for us, getting money or paying for tickets outside of Russia is difficult or impossible, so if anyone wants to get out will have to find other ways (at least trains and busses are still an option).
Government starts to block any media source that does not support propaganda (not even necessarily against it), goddamn they don't allow to call it a war, invasion or occupation (no no, it's a "special peacekeeping operation"). Twitter, Facebook and some other social media doesn't seem to work or work hella slow, and this may become truth for some channels on YouTube as well. Hell, there's even a new law that basically says "you either say what propaganda says or you may be thrown in jail up to 15 years" (there are more details ofc, but I'm not here to give them, I'm literally just venting).
Going to protests against the war can now be seen as extremist activity (don't even ask how this works), with all the consequences, and police already arrested a lot of people, including children and WWII veteran (and I'm not kidding).
Government acknowledged that they are suffering losses and named a number just yesterday, before that many of soldiers and their families didn't even know they were sent there. Saw a couple of videos with Russian captives saying that they were supposed to be sent to training (something like that), contacting their family members, and I'm just speechless.
There's many things I haven't mentioned (bc I'm not good at summarizing info), but none of it gives me hope for better. And that's without mentioning any news from Ukraine (other people will do a better job anyway).
I seem to have lost the ability to write short things. Yay for content I guess, but with the length of things as they are compared to pre-hiatus Hazel, my writing pace is gonna dwindle a little. I am trying to find some ABCs or simple things in my requests to keep the ball rolling, but most of the things that no one asked for that come out of my own strange brain... are long.
I have to give a presentation later today thats 10% of my grade but we’re super behind because six people were supposed to go the other day but only four went so now NINE people have to present today each for ten minutes and I’m second to last AND WE ALWAYS START SO LATE AND I KNOW SOME KIDS ARE GONNA TAKE UP MORE TIME

+ a best friend of mine got c*vid and she's getting worse and worse everyday and if I'm being honest, I'm scared for her since I don't really wanna lose her just yet <\3 :(
it's been a subject to my nightly crying everyday and it just sort of hurts, like a big slash on your heart, ykwim?
I've had a crush on her for a while now and I really don't want to be that one bsf that's gonna ruin whatever relationship we have currently, because she has chances to be with other cooler people than me but I just don't know why she decided to pick me instead
+ I've been stressing out about this one geo project due next week and my partner isn't helping me at all
I really expected better from Favreau and Filoni. My feelings on that finale are very mixed, but I think I am mostly disappointed and sad. I just want Din and his green son going on space adventures. Really not a fan off all these spin-offs that are connected and supposedly building up to a big event. Fingers crossed they prove me wrong I guess 😕
