[ ☆ ] How do they act around the other AND residents? Is there anyone they are particularly close with or wish to be?

-- When Shinhye is at the company building and surrounded by the other AND Entertainment residents, the twenty-four year old acts like she is suppose to: courteous and professional. When she is not on the clock but sees them out and about in Seoul, she treats them just like she would treat anybody else: with kindness and a friendly, warm smile.

-- To be completely honestly, there are some AND Entertainment residents Shinhye is close with and some she wishes to be close with. However, for the sake of their privacy and her own self-preservation, she'll keep that information undisclosed for the time being. After all, she rather keep her personal affairs... well, for lack of better words, personal.

[ ☆ ] What other abilities are your characters good at? Are they tech-savvy? Athletic? Maybe inhumanly intelligent? Name some and why they decided to go with their opted career instead.

-- For the most part, Shinhye likes to think that she is a well rounded person who, surprisingly enough, has other interests other than her chosen career as a publicist for AND Entertainment. For example, just to name a few things, she is either quite skilled in or heavily enjoys the following things:

Athletic: She may only stand approximately 5'5" (168cm), but don't let that fool you. As someone who grew up loving sports and even participated in a few games / matches, Shinhye is surprisingly athletic. Rather than become a professional athlete, she mostly just trains and plays for recreational purposes as a last minute addition.

Culinary: For someone who loves to eat a lot, it kind of goes hand in hand that she would also love to cook and bake as well. Sure, she never went to culinary school to learn how to cook and bake, but who needs to pay for the fancy lessons when she can just learn some (of the best) home made recipes for free from her omma?

Dancing: It all started when she was a young girl, her mother enrolled her in a couple of lessons at a dance studio in order to help fix her posture. Although she was against it at first, she soon found it to be most enjoyable -- often dancing the night away either freestyle or a choreography with her friends. She just does it for fun.

Singing: Unless you've heard her in the showers or seen her (most likely intoxicated) singing at a KTV bar, you wouldn't know that Shinhye can sing. Working in the industry that she works in now, she's too self conscious to sing in front of others unless she's down some liquid courage. That's why she leaves it to the professionals.

Tech-savvy: It comes to now surprise that Shinhye is extremely tech-savvy. As someone with a degree in Media Journalism and Mass Communications, her entire career revolves around computers. This is why she knows how to fix and operate them with little to no trouble at all. However, tech support isn't really her thing.

Writing: Creative writing has always been an outlet for her to express herself. After becoming a journalist writing for a major newspaper company in Seoul, she soon learned that she can't always write about what she wants to. In order for the paper to sell and for her to get readers, she needed to cater to their needs instead of her own.

So I'm a tad bit little late in replying back to this but... AHH! { ` blushes and hides face; } Thank you so much, lovely! ; 3 ; It really does mean a lot to me as I try my hardest to make Shinhye's portrayal as a publicist with AND Entertainment as realistic as I can, kekeke! ^^v

I admit, I was feeling a little bummed since I haven't had the time to give her the attention she deserves in order to further flush her character developments out, but this honestly refuels my motivation level and inspires me to do better and work harder as a writer!

[ ☆ ] Write a letter as your character to their 13-year-old self.

Dearest Thirteen Year old Shinhye,

            For whatever the reason, I cannot for the life of me recall how things were when I was your age.. I must admit that worries me a little since that was nearly a decade ago... Has my memory declined since then? Dear god I hope not.

            Regardless, I would presume that life back then as a 13 year old is nothing like how my life is right now. Oh, perhaps I should mention that today is July 26, 2O14 and before you say, it I already know what you are thinking. No, I am not that old and no, cutting your hair short will not be worth it since it will take forever for your hair to grow out..

            I’m not exactly sure what I’m suppose to write about or how all of this works exactly, but I suppose I can tell you about how life is going for us when we’re twenty-four years old. It’s a little crazy to think about but you have a creative imagination so let me humor you for a bit, Shinhye.

            After completing and graduating from Seoul Young-Pa Girls' High School, we end up getting into and attending Chung-Ang University. There we major in Media Journalism with a minor in Mass Communication. So if omma ask why do we keep writing nonsense in our journal, you can just laugh and tell her that it’ll be worth it in the end.

            Anyway, after graduating from the university, we go into journalism working as a reporter with a well known newspaper company. We do that for a few years until you do some more freelance writing and eventually leave the press world and go into public relations.

            Eventually you’ll become hired by And Entertainment and work as a publicist. You will also end up moving into a studio apartment (go figure) in Hongdae at a complex called Cheonguk Apartments. Let’s just say your life will be fun there.

Oh my goodness, to be completely honest with you anon I didn’t expect anyone to send anything in! So this is a very pleasant surprise. Thank you so much for the compliment! I really do try my best to get Shinhye out there to interact with others and most of all flush out her character development as a Publicist for AND Entertainment to the best of my ability. It really makes me happy, not to mention made my day, to know that all my hard work, all the time I spent on her, and my dedication to this muse is being recognized! ^^

Nurse me

[ ☆ ] Leave a "Nurse Me" in my ask, and I’ll write a drabble about my character healing yours.

While working as a publicist for AND Entertainment for quite some time now, not only did Shinhye got to work with the well-known idol groups and trainees of the entertainment company, but she also had the exclusive pleasure of getting to know all of the members on a more personal level. If the company was representing these idols and groups under the spotlight, it was Shinhye’s job to over see that everything goes well and no reprehensible scandals reach the internet and tabloids. So in order for her to do her job effectively, she was required to assess each of the idols individual profiles in order to ensure a positive promotion of their image.

As the twenty-four year old rushed around the stage, moving from one area to the next, she tried her best in order to cater to the press readily lined up for a promotional press conference with the company’s idol group, IMPACT. With the interview about to commence in approximately 30 minutes, Shinhye checked her itinerary to make sure everything was all set to go. Walking back towards the idols’ co-ed dressing room, she swiftly knocked on the door to make her presence known. Entering the room she quickly informed them of what’s to come.

❝ Hello everyone! I just wanted to inform you that you guys will be on in approximately 30 minutes from now. So make sure that you’re all dress and ready to go by the 10 minute mark and make your way towards the stage. From there the stage crew will help secure your microphones in place before you make your appearance in front of the press. ❞ Her words were more of an instruction than anything else; she left the pep talk to their respective managers.

Just as she was about to walk out, Shinhye caught the eye of one idol from the group who seem to be a little out of it. According to her private files provided by the company, J.Hyun (a rapper and visual of the group) was known to skip meals. While what he does is of no personal concern to her, it was still her job to make sure that nothing happens to him under her care. Grabbing an orange from the fruit basket provided by the catering, she called out to the young idol to grab his attention.

❝ Hey J.Hyun— catch! ❞ she tossed the piece of fruit towards him with hopes he’d act fast.

❝ I may not be your manager, but as your publicist, I very well can’t afford to have you fainting during an interview. So eat that before you head out on stage.  Eat well and hwaiting! ❞

‘Or else we’d both be in trouble…’

[ ☆ ] What are their views on ceo Jeon Heesun? Do they look up to her, or are they intimidated by her? Describe an instance where she made your character mad or happy. What would they change about her?

Views on CEO and Founder of AND Entertainment; Jeon Hee Sun

-- With the exception of her second round interview for the publicist position at AND Entertainment, seldom does Shinhye personally interact with Jeon Hee Sun on a daily basis. The only time she would have to meet with the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of the company is when a scandal involving any of the employees reaches the media masses. However, do her job like she is suppose to, that has yet to happen. (Thank God)

-- When it comes down to it, Shinhye look up to Jeon Hee Sun with the utmost highest regards. Even if she is slightly intimidated by her employer, her admiration for boss never once waver. After all, she deserves it given she was able to create now 8 popular idol groups under the company's name. This is why she wouldn't suggest any change in her character.

--The happiest moment Shinhye can recall with her boss would be after her interview for the position. Although her resume was good enough to get her past the first round, she was sure whoever interview her in the second round would see that she lacked any experience in public relations. However, Hee Sun gave her the benefit of the doubt and hired her on the spot.
