#haskell #tag wall is long #I need a #the world is broken #tag #or something in that vein #I mean....#I complain about my work processes #but apparently I have it easy #if you can't fix an `Ord1 Down` fucking instance #and. hm.#presumably this is an issue in ghc development/deployment/task assignment practices #I firmly believe this'd be merged in 2–3 months easily _if_ there was a person championing the task #so why wasn't there one?#too many even more important tasks to champion?#no process to dredge up backlog and assign highest-priority tasks to someone occasionally?#not enough people to assign tasks to & not enough financial/hr resource to acquire these people?#......no people whose job it is to _notice_ and _fix_ horrific fuckups of the work process like that?#I mean possibly all of these are true #because any one of them would solve this #the world is wrong
