Love when a whumpee is already so emotionally broken from something that just happened in their life (major fight with a loved one, being unable to continue doing their passion, death of a pet/loved one, or just plain old depression and feeling like their life is going nowhere) that they give in WAY faster than whumper was expecting them to. Because the just can’t fucking care anymore.
simon meets grace and rocky at least a couple years into their trip to erid and grace is lanky as fuck all from Canonical Starvation, so while simon is shorter he is also much bulkier and very clearly the stronger of the two
anyway at some point simon is shirtless doing whatever and our aroace boy grace sees those beautiful tits and just sighs before wistfully recounting when he was jacked after he first woke up on the hail mary.
rocky is just giving him shit. "grace has always been leaky space blob. grace is weaker than rocky." but simon is picturing it and he's a little confused and turned on because what the fuck?
His initial reaction when you break the news? Blank. No definable emotion on his face. Is it a defense mechanism, or does he just hate being an open book that much? Probably a good mix of both.
So. On one hand, Killer does NOT want children. He knows he wouldn't be a good father for multiple reasons; he's mentally unstable, absent most of the time, and a horrible role-model overall.
It's a very real worry to think about how nearly all the work would fall onto you, because there's no way in hell Nightmare's letting Killer go on "maternity leave."
He also just, y'know, doesn't want to have that kind of responsibility. Sounds pretty shitty in his opinion.
Even if we're in the midst of Killer's good-ending where he's free, I still don't think he'd want kids. He still doubts himself, and it overall just doesn't suit his vibe. He wants you all to himself, thanks. No one else needs to be added into the mix (apart from maybe a cat or four).
Now, does this mean Killer is leaving you on your own?

During your pregnancy, despite lacking enthusiasm for the whole "child" part of it, Killer does develop this weird... urge. He grows more worried about you, more skeptical.
Killer doesn't notice this trend at first, but you sure as hell do. You could be doing something as simple as walking up the stairs and Killer would be dead-staring through your very soul. He also performs *CHECK*s more often, though you hardly notice due to your humanly limitations.
It's all a natural monster instinct, you come to find out (after various googling and reddit searches).
Though, Killer's new tendencies can get a little overwhelming for you. He's already weirdly protective and incredibly obsessive as is, so adding natural monster instincts into the mix?
Erm.
You will be... observed, to put things lightly. Very guarded. Killer always needs to know where you are. I mean, he does this regardless of pregnancy, but now it's hiked to an extreme.
