Neil is super good at cooking and chores (Golden Boy vibes)
Todd wakes up to Neil's cooking almost every morning
Todd needs coffee and Neil knows his exact mixture (3 spoonfuls of sugar and a splash of creamer) while Neil just likes it plain black.
Neil and Todd's first apartment was tiny
Their first bed together was a single bed but they didn't mind because they shared their Welton bed a lot
Todd works as a teacher's assistant while working on his novels
Neil is a part time actor but also volunteers as the school Todd teaches at too (somehow Neil lands the theatre teacher spot)
They host thanksgiving with the poets often
They have 1 Tabby Cat named Walt and 1 Golden Retriever named Delilah
Chris and Ginny's daughter loves them
Neil and Todd asked Ginny to be their surrogate mother; Neil donated his DNA for their daughter
They would name with daughters after flowers; their first born is Rose (maybe their future kids, marigold and lavender) (if they have sons it'll be after Shakespearean plays or some poets idk)
At first their baby, Rose, would always prefer Neil to take care of her since she's biologically Neil's daughter, but eventually when she spent more time with Todd, she preferred his company instead lmao
Todd is used to kids-- not the best with them since he's awkward with them but children don't hate his company; his own child now relies on him for everything
Neil isn't good with kids at all because his parents never let him mingle with other kids growing up BUT he's very much in love with his daughter and his husband because they're precious
Rose looks a lot like Neil but her eyes are blue from Ginny's genes. Neil likes to pretend she got those eyes from Todd <3
Neil likes to let Rose perform mini-plays in their living-room and eventually the poets are invited every month to watch her little plays
Todd likes taking pictures of Rose a lot especially because Neil's always with her
Rose's first day of school photo was her crying in Todd's arms
