mother loves you
let's have a face reveal and not tell barbie pt 2: FEATURING THE ENTIRE HEXENZIRKEL
STORY TEASER ❖ what still lies unwritten
A long tale awaits you, my love. Let songs and flowers be the ink that fills its pages. Take my pen, and use it to continue your story.
i LOVE the hexenzirkel so much. a bunch of morally ? ladies who are all a bit off their rocker
what i DONT like is how canon importance has drawn the attention of certain male character fans to consider someone like anya being buds with rhine wrongful characterization, because many of them view her as durin’s nurturing protective mother and little else.
similar to nicole, she’s a moral pariah and mother to all; so in THEIR canon she would want to kill gold of course.
so here’s the honest truth:
THE HEXENZIRKEL MEMBERS (yes, ALL OF THEM) ARE NOT GOOD PEOPLE, AND NO; NONE OF THEM HATE RHINE, NOT EVEN NICOLE OR ANDERSDOTTER
this does not make positive characterization of the members inconsistent, it makes them complex and more than the one dimensional tropes people insist upon them. your woobified fave’s mommy figure is best friends, coven sisters even, with gold. shock. horror. we must cancel them.
the hexenzirkel aren’t even (in the grand scheme of media) THAT complex, but people seem to forget female characters are allowed to be questionable people even if they’re kind or have strong morals.
the bond of the hexenzirkel bypass all else, they are woven together beyond anything and that’s what’s so intimate and beautiful to me. their sisterhood is paramount to them, which makes their connection a wonderful narrative. i LOVE everything about it
