          A cloud of displeasure seemed to appear above the exhausted man. His lips were tugged down into a frown, his brows knit together, his eyes narrowed. „ I absolutely do not. ” His voice was flat ; it was clearly being well-controlled to keep from cracking or showing any signs of exhaustion or weakness. Dorian Pavus knew when to stop, and that was, essentially, never.

          „ I can assure you that I will not drink the bitter and often burnt thing known as coffee, ” the Tevinter sneered. This reaction was, upon further inspection, not as much inspired by any level of insult which he found from the implication that he would fall asleep upon the book he read ( which was, all in all, exceedingly likely, growing exponentially so as the minutes ticked onwards ), but rather by the assumption he would dare subject his taste buds to such a foul drink. Even containing more sweetener than coffee, Dorian still found the drink repulsive. No, he much preferred tea, ideally of Imperial origin.

Lee woke up. Last time he was awake and his systems were functioning. He had just taken a major hit for the sake of many lives and needed repairing. Where was he now? It became quickly clear to him that he was no longer in his time period. The present. This ship. Whatever he was on. Seemed even more advanced then his augs. He double checked that he was alright before he sat up. Someone was there. He was surprised and alarmed, yet still. He smiled politely towards them. He assumed if it weren’t for them, he would still be frozen unable to do anything. “Thank you, I am in your debt.” 

While my verses page is out of date due to Tumblr not letting me edit those pages. But I have a Mass Effect crossover where Lee in the 21th century, was a hero and protector of Earth. At first he was a normal man. Then an explosion made him become a combination of man and machine with loads of capabilities. He continued his heroic deeds, until eventually another incident had him get badly damaged in action, protecting people. He was fixed so he could never get damaged again without his systems self repairing. BUT. He was frozen in sleep during this. Never woken up. UNTIL Shepard finds him during any preferred point in the ME timeline (totally up to you. ME1, 2 or 3. :D), sets him free and he willingly joins the crew. eager to deal out justice again as soon as possible. non-lethally but he doesn’t care if others are lethal in this version of him. Also needs to get used to the future! but as like a personal quest. at some point will want to see if anyone else frozen for this timeline. is any of his family or people he cared about from the 21th. This idea is based of the video game series Deus Ex and takes what Lee is capable of in this verse from that game!

Quite a few of these are lethal. But Lee would do this stuff non-lethally, without killing on foes with souls. Without souls? Just finish them. Unlike the MC of Deus Ex here, a part from brand marks on the skin. Lee looks entirely human until he uses one of his augmentations for combat, defense, hacking etc.
