Day 183: "Keep it moving forward." Exactly 1 year ago today, I endured one of the most rigorous life events I ever have endured. I moved away from 10 years of friendships in Texas and moved to Woodbury, MN. To think that exactly a year ago today, I felt my life was falling apart, because I hugged all of my best friends goodbye, jumped into that 2008 Gray Hyundai Sonata, and drove away from all of my friends and the connections that took me 10 years to build up makes me wonder "How did I ever get this far?". I never thought I'd be where I am today. Let me tell you, I was fond of moving away until the day of moving away actually came. Then, I realized how much I didn't want to, and I cried until my eyes couldn't cry anymore. On the 14 hour car ride here, I developed the feeling that I was going to be worthless in Minnesota, that I'd have to fight the battle of being accepted AGAIN, and that nothing would work out for me. BUT GOD HAD PLANS FOR OTHERWISE. Did it take me a while? YES. But I can finally say, I've moved on from what held me from being free. I learned how to truly let go. And while it pains me to say that I've left all of those people in Texas, it also warms me to say that I've enjoyed the company of so many people up here. I feel SO blessed and I LOVE YOU ALL!!!! Now, as I close this post, I'll say that for 183 days, I have posted pictures of people who have contributed to my happiness, and no, I'll tell you right now that I did NOT get everyone in. I've been digging for the things that make me happy so that I could keep moving on. From my 6 month anniversary to my 1 year anniversary of living here, it has been a bumpy car ride, but it was worth it. I'm so blessed. And I'm so thankful. I really am. I thought that I'd never make it here to this point, but look at where I am now. I feel great. I feel strong. I feel stable. And now, I can finally stand here in awe of myself and say, I made it the whole year. I made it. The whole year. And I sure am proud. "Keep it moving forward." #183happydays #MissYouTX #LoveYouMN #ClosingPost #IMadeIt #AndImProud
