Club de Cuervos - tv show | comedy about a brother and sister that can’t stand each other inherit their dad’s football (soccer) team and have to work together for the team to succeed (they don’t) and caos ensues.
La casa de las flores - tv show, soap opera vibes | drama with comedy sprinkled in between. a family that has had multigenerational success thanks to a flower shop. Everything seems to be going well, until the body of the father’s lover is found (she killed herself there) and everything wrong between them starts to come to light
El club - my boyfriend watched it, idk much about it, it’s a crime drama tv show about rich people haha
Rebelde - tv show | remake about a v famous mexican soap opera that was an adaptation of an argentinian soap opera lol. It’s good, but idk if I’m blinded by nostalgia
Ya no estoy aqui - movie | drama. Follows the story of a boy from a specific part of my hometown, Monterrey, during the height of the drug war that went on in the late 00, early 2010s. kinda sad but v realistic.
El baile de los 41 - movie | historical drama based on a mexican legend about a secret ball made for and by gay men (it was illegal back then) that when they raided the place, found 42 men there, Porfirio Diaz’s (the president/dictator at the time) son in law being one of them.
Las cronicas del taco - documentary | bc who doesn’t want to learn about the different tacos that are famous in different regions of the country?

Los enviados - tv show | crime, drama vibes. Two catholic priests go investigate a possible miracle that happened in a small town, find it’s more complicated that it seems.
