Sean O’Malley takes UD over Andre Soukhamthath

This O’Malley was worth the hype. The first two rounds for O’Malley were absolutely fantastic. O’Malley’s understanding of range, feinting, movement, stance switching, and throwing in combination at only 3 years into his pro career is crazy good. He broke his foot on a high kick in the third and let Soukhamthath back into it, but even then he battled through it and got himself out of some tricky spots. Big win for O’Malley.

Andre Soukhamthath FINISHES Luke Sanders in the 2nd round!

My WORD MY WORD! Dude was getting pelted and smelted in the first round at distance and in tight. He just looked uncomfortable, struggling to string anything together and then in the second round, it was more of the same. A flurry begins, Sanders has his chin up in the air floating around waiting to be eaten up on and then CRUNCHED by a counter hook! Andre Soukhamthat dives in, lands all kinds of ground and pound and finishes the fight! Stoppage was just IMO since Sanders face planted twice and was about to shoot on the referee. Maybe Rosenthal was a little too close?

Fucking hell Luke Sanders has two losses that fall into the "I was winning and then" category. God damn.

Alejandro Perez takes a decision over Andre Soukhamthath in a fun fight.

Great scrap between Perez and Soukhamthath. Soukhamthath came out and dropped Perez 3x in the fight (twice in 1st, once in the 2nd). All off of perfectly time jabs while Perez was either coming forward or squared up with no base. Perez battled through though and won out on output and the couple of times the fight touched the mat. Soukhamthath’s low output ended up costing him.

Albert Morales takes a DS over Soukhamthath

Fun scrap at bantamweight between two early career 135ers. While he didn't win, Soukhamthath provided the best moment of the fight where he landed something like 6-7 straight left hooks to the body and then landed a knee that visibly shook Morales. Morales dug deep though, got the TD and almost got the submission win to close the 3rd.
