Here’s a small detail I found. There’s a male and female guest with eyebrows.
Make up.
Maggan and Harry dressing up for meeting the Lady
Do you sometimes go to the living quarters of your staff and share a cup of coffee with them and chat about their work performance?
"There is no need to. They know what their jobs are, and they are all well aware of their responsabilities towards myself and the Maw."
Besides, she doesn't really pay them. What she offers them is the same she offers to her Guests: refuge. A chance to live away from the clutches of the outside world. It seems to be enough for most of her current employees.
There was a time where the Maw used their currencies to pay the staff, but that was long before her employees were hired. Her predecessor had been to careless with what she earned: the submarine was falling apart under her reign. The Lady in White did not care, of course, as long as the thing kept moving - but the Lady is not as negligent. Now, all the funds go to the Maw itself. To keep it afloat.
Most importantly, all the employees of the Maw had their respective roles to fulfill. If one of them was to miss their deadlines, the entire Maw would be damaged from it. Everyone would be aware, herself included, which was why they were always on their best performances. All for them operate as a single being inside the jaws of the Maw.
"The Maw is vast. Travelling all the way down to the lower levels is something I oftenly cannot afford, due to how time consuming it is - especially during the time of year when we open our doors to our Guests," she explains, elegantly omitting the fact that she would rather not approach the lower levels due to the sheer number of all kinds of parasites running about, "However, once every few months, I summon them to the upper levels to keep up to date with their work."
Azula unenthusiastically feeding some turtle ducklings bread, still unsure how to change her ways after all the horrible things she did during the war and to her friends and family. Azula suddenly snapped out of her thoughts when she noticed the alarmingly large amount of turtle ducklings huddling around her, quaking and demanding more bread from her. She got up and stepped backwards with an uncomfortable look on her face as the ducklings began following her. Azula then picked one up and held it up to her face and stared intriguingly at it, is this what’s liked to be loved, she thought to herself.
That's so cute🥺😭
Lowkey would it be sick if we got an ATLA game that plays out like Warioware
Oh man that would be awesome
Which design do you prefer for Azula’s new group?
The old version from Smoke and Shadows
Or the newer version from In The Spirit Temple
As much as I hate Smoke and Shadow.... I'm going to have to go with that design.
I don’t see much people talking about how Azula’s hair band literally phased through her fingers.
Well. I didn't notice it until now🤣. The animation errors of the early 2000's. Gotta love it.
I love Iroh but come on holding a lifelong grudge towards your niece for making fun of your dead son is some petty shit. Come on man she was like 5 years old!?
Idk if he even knows about that😭
