Design Post - Cologne

We attended Design Post, a showroom across from the Imm Fair that displays high quality furnishings such as Moooi, Andreau World and Kvadrat fabrics. This showroom is open all year round to trade customers as well as the general public. Here I met with a company called Extremis who are a group  from Belgium that showcase outdoor furniture. They describe their designs as “tools for togetherness” as they encourage people (family, friends, relatives & strangers) to come together using their designs to enhance the time spent entertaining each other. In particular I loved the Kosmos - a table seating that is round in shape in which you can sit and relax with the added bonus of a table that cleverly (when laid flat) transforms into a giant lounger. The parasole attached to the Kosmos makes this a real oasis and something we are hoping to showcase at Contempo in the coming months.
