heya! i just recently found your comic and i wanted to tell you guys that of the 10 webcomics i've read this past month Ghost Junk Sickness is my favorite one! i also wanted to ask if the rehabilitation that andrew went through after the "unfortunate accident" was to cope with the loss of his arm and get used to his prosthetic or if there is something else that he suffer(s/ed) from that he needed rehab for (perhaps guilt over what happened with Terra's father)?

As for Andrew, after the events that he went through with inexplicably losing control and affecting those around him and ultimately severing his own arm in order to regain control, he developed some severe PTSD that still affects him in the current timeline. The events of the catastrophe were stressful enough so he was unfortunate to have even MORE scarring on that particular day. He received rehabilitation for that and the use of his prosthetic arm and yes the guilt came along with it of course. He’s very conscientious and the type of character that makes it his duty to help everyone, so he spent a long time not being able to come to terms with it and not being able to trust himself. He’s dealt with a lot in his life, and this is just the tip of the iceberg of what we’ll explore with him so we hope you’ll look forward to learning more about him! Andrew still has a long road of recovery and a lot more hard truths to face but at least he won’t be alone :’)

We’ve been updating our references for our characters and we decided to line up all the references we had for some of the characters to see the difference and phew, how far they’ve come! We even went as far to dig around for some of their first iterations-- before they were even a part of GJS! Some of them are pretty jarring to look at but others it’s kind of funny how consistent certain elements of the designs were.

Ghost Junk Sickness Chapter 8: Bad Blood Elegy

Chapter synopsis: Interstellar soldiers find themselves ambushed when a group of rebels make their move in attempts to smoke them out of their beloved city of Junder ; Although the attack does not last for long as Junder soldiers play referee between the occupying military and civilians to keep the fragile state of peace. Upon apprehending the rebels, Andrew discovers that he recognizes one of them: Terra Sakda, a fiery and passionate young leader of the rebels who appears as a painful reality that Andrew has to face in order understand what’s really going on with Interstellar and to receive crucial information on his and Sam’s most elusive case, The Ghost.
