Imagine a robot Au with robots created for the sole purpose of doing hero work— like the especially dangerous missions that a human would not be able to accomplish or maybe they’re programmed to be healers and assists human healers in whatever way possible.
Bruce is assigned to Clark as a healer Android (bc I love Doctor Wayne :3💖) and despite not being able to feel emotions Bruce does show a lot of care for Clark because of how he’s been programmed. And Clark knows that Bruce doesn’t feel anything in a traditional manner, but superhero work can be lonely.
You can’t develop relationships easily because your date or time with friends and family can be easily interrupted and the fame that can come with being a hero (especially if you don’t have a secret identity) can be overwhelming. So Bruce is Clark’s solace.
But I’m getting ahead of myself. I’m messaging you because I like wire play :3c
Bruce needs maintenance and Clark’s been trained on how to maintain his android. As he’s rummaging through what the problem is with Bruce he’s unknowingly stimulating him 🫢🤭
And maybe there’s no problem at all, maybe Bruce is so in love with Clark it messes with his code and Clark doesn’t know and Bruce is too embarrassed to tell him.
Fact of the matter is- I think Clark should play with Bruce’s wires

Clark doesn't even notice at first something is wrong, he just keeps feeling up the wires, trying to find the right one. Then the device that is supposed to monitor Bruce starts showing up warning, so Clark looks up and sees Bruce in the state of pure bliss.
