Is the Cell Phone Turning Into the Next Mini Computer?
We still remember those days when we used to take photos from our cell phones and then transfer them into our laptops, to their hard drives for storing them. After storing them we used to upload them on to the Internet via a Dial up Internet Connection. After few years, the Dial Up connection was replaced by a modem internet connection. Yet, this process of transferring the photo from a cell phone to the Internet was quite a long and tedious process. Today, this process has become very easy and less cumbersome. The entire credit goes to the awesome and sleek smartphones being made by several brands nowadays. We can describe this simple process for you in the next paragraph as you read this article further. In today's time if you take the example of mobiles which are quite sophisticated technology wise matters, they combine various tasks of a computer into one. Now people, who use smartphones, take selfies which means photos of themselves or of others too from their phone camera. Then they access the Social Networking Sites via the apps of the Internet facility available on their phone. Such Social Media platforms have now become very mobile friendly so such smartphone users easily upload their taken photos for sharing it online with people. In today's Wireless Internet Connectivity, gadgets like laptops and smartphones have become Wi-Fi enabled just like campuses and other public areas. This has now enabled the smartphone user to access the Internet in areas and even in Wi-Fi enabled public transport through their phones. It's now just accessing the Internet on the go, anytime and anywhere. People have become very happy, thinking that sharing photos or any other important data over the Internet has become very instant. We have realized from the previous paragraphs that people, who use smartphones in a very net savvy way, also tend to download a vast number of photos and other multimedia files. Now this is an issue which tends to make us think that a smartphone can only retain its smartness for long if it supports a huge memory back up. Phone Memory more than 1 GB is now being conceived for these smart phones so that its users can enjoy downloading enormous number of multimedia files without having to think about memory space. The internal memory and software arrangements are being done by manufacturers in such a way that the phone does not hang at times. Time will just help improvise these lovely gadgets.
