I'm debating adding tags to each session so that the user can filter by their custom tags, maybe based on what they were working on. That feels like a later problem though.

took a java class this summer where i played with android app development for the first time. the assignment was to create a simple (create and retrieve) appointment book application. instructor said we could do whatever we wanted for the UI, so i made an EVIL appointment book for logging your EVIL appointments.
i already had java code for creating, parsing, and dumping appointments, but it was my first time doing any android development or xml UI design, so the entire project took about 8 hours.

Hello, I have returned (sort of). I'm feeling a lot better, my flares have died down so I was a little motivated.
I didn't do much today — I had guests over so I chiller with them for bit, then sat down to practice some UI building!
Im building a calculator and used the actual calculator of my phone as a reference and a little help from @asterisquue. Honestly, I think I did a pretty good job! (It took me 3 hours)

Kotlin Collections: A Developer’s Guide for Android developers
Kotlin has gradually replaced Java as the lingua franca of Android programming. It’s a more concise language than Java, meaning your code works harder and you can build leaner applications. To read about more click the link Kotlin Collections .
These collections play a fundamental role in our work as programmers by simplifying the organization and management of data. Whether it’s a list, set, map or other data structure, they allow us to categorize and store data logically. So we can save, retrieve and manipulate information, and manage a range of tasks from simple data presentation to complex algorithm implementation.
BTS Album App Progress
It took a hot minute but I think I finally figured out what the issue was with the database so that's not screaming at me anymore.
I've got a lot of the screens set up now. here are the layouts for some of the screens. The formatting is not finalized so they arent the prettiest but it's progress.
More information on this project can be found here under current projects.
If anyone actually sees this would love feedback on the layout or other features I could add so shoot me a message if you want (I also just want to talk to people about BTS lol)
