✨🔮 aphrodaysiac's witchy android apps 🔮 ✨ ✨ Stop, Breathe, Think ✨ one of my favorite guided meditation apps. the app is free and additional meditations can unlocked by purchasing a premium membership for $60/year or $10/month ✨ Simple Habit ✨ another meditation app. I haven't used this one as much but it operates fairly similarly to Stop, Breathe, Think with a base number of meditations available for free and an expanded library with the purchase of a premium membership for either $96/year or $11/month ✨ Headspace ✨ another meditation app that was recommended to me by a friend. this is by far the most beginner-friendly guided meditation app, complete with cute animations to help explain the lessons of each meditation. it features a "basics" pack of ten free sessions and other meditations can be unlocked by purchasing a subscription for either $95/year or $13/month ✨ Golden Thread Tarot ✨ my absolute favorite digital tarot deck. the UI is stunning and has several options for spreads, drawing a daily card, or simply using it as a database for card meanings & interpretations (how I personally use the app). there is also a physical version of this deck that can be purchased on their website labyrinthos.co for $45 USD ✨ Labyrinthos Academy ✨ created by the developers of Golden Thread Tarot, this app is great for learning the basics of how to interpret tarot. the app feels very similar to the language learning app, Duolingo, if you're familiar with that. the exercises are super simple and fun, great if you want to learn tarot but don't have hours upon hours to devote to studying the cards (or if you just want a way to get a little practice in on the go) ✨ Monospace ✨ a simple, minimalist note-taking app I use to jot down witchy ideas, take notes while listening to audiobooks, and keep a running list of things to research/books to read/etc ✨ Herbs Encyclopedia ✨ a fairly large database of medicinal plants and natural remedies, as well as dangerous plants. includes pictures, descriptions, common & scientific names, and cultivation info ✨ Tumblr ✨ hopefully if you're reading this I don't need to explain this one 😜 ✨ Pagan Calendar ✨ I just started using this app and it's pretty neat. shows upcoming celtic, roman, greek, and wiccan festivals, as well as birthdays of famous pagan writers ✨ Audible ✨ an audiobook subscription app owned by Amazon with a large selection of books and really good narrators ✨ Etsy ✨ a great place to buy handcrafted/vintage witchy items, herbs, crystals, etc ✨ ThriftBooks ✨ a really great app for buying used books!! 10/10 would recommend !!!!!!! ✨ Goodreads ✨ a really cool app to find book recommendations based on books you've read and rated. it's also a great place to keep a "to read" list ✨ GardenAnswers ✨ a useful app if you're like me and are bad at identifying plants. you can take or upload a photo of any plant and the app will come up with possible matches on what plant it could be. for $2 you can also have a horticulturalist take a look at your photo if you are unable to find a match from what the app generates ✨ Simple Calendar ✨ a clean, minimalist calendar app I use specifically for lunar phases, astrological events, and pagan festivals/holidays ✨ Simple Moon Phase Calendar ✨ (widget in bottom right of the screenshot) a calendar of the lunar cycle with a really cool customizable widget showing the current lunar phase
