Forget the Long Night, I want a spinoff starring Andy McClay called The Song of Androw, about the life and wartime experiences of veteran Stark man-at-arms Androw as he tries to survive the mayhem of Westerosi warfare, offering through asides to the audience a grassroots perspective of the smallfolk of Westeros and the North, with all the main cast just offscreen. Maybe Androw could also share in these asides soliloquies on family, love, life, death, and war, like back in the days before Game of Thrones was only about moving the plot forward piece by piece.
We could maybe even smuggle in some book material by giving Androw Big Bucket Wull’s speech on the joys of killing Bolton men, or have the smallfolk organise a Northern Conspiracy that gets rumbled by Roose Bolton.
