"Sometimes you just have to erase the messages, delete the numbers and move on. You don’t have to forget who that person was to you. Only accept that they aren’t the same person anymore."

“Yeah but what if I’m not interesting enough? What if I’m boring? And I know myself pretty well, so I know we would have little to talk about…”
“So let me get this straight, you think of all your negative aspects before you approach someone new? That’s a little unnecessary isn’t it? Sure, i know my own flaws and they will be at the back of my head somewhere, but when i approach someone, I think of the positive stuff, like hey I can probably make someone smile. I mean it’s nice to know your limitation but you do have to work with what you have. It’s like when I look in a mirror: I don’t see someone tall, dark and handsome, because frankly I’m not tall, dark, nor am i handsome, well handsome part is debatable, so they might have sex with me out of pity…But see? You just laughed at that. I know I can make people laugh. And yes I’m aware that I don’t have a six pack, like it’s unrealistic if I constantly compare myself to someone like Ryan Gosling. But I know who i am and what i’ve got. I’m Andy, and I’m just a nerdy guy who can make a girl happy. And maybe sometimes, that’s enough for me to approach someone new.”
