ANE Episode 11 - Jealous!Nevra on Lance's route (if your LOM is high w/ Nevra)

Context: You're holding Lance's hand although it probably applies to all routes expect Nevra's and Nevra turns around because he wanted to ask you something. If Nevra loves you (high LOM), here is his reaction to it:

(He didn't say anything. I believe I saw the corners of his lips contract.)

(For a moment, he seemed... sad.)

A/N ♡: As brief as this moment was, it was my absolute favourite. It gives me "LOM does matter and affects dialogues, thus rendering the story lines more diverse", which is an element I thoroughly miss from season 1/The Origins.

If your LOM with Nevra is low, a smile creeps on his face and he turns back to ask Mathieu his questions.

LANCE’S DRAGON NATURE MAKES HIM LSS VULNERABLE THAN OTHERS TO POISONS, WHICH IS WHY HE IS THE GUINEA PIG WHEN NEEDED.

N: “It’s unfortunate, but it’s always Lance who tastes food, when we have no choice.”

L: “On the other hand, I am always the one who eats the warmest meal.”

Summary: Following a peculiar meeting with your father, you're left alone and separated from your fellow Guard members. You're no longer safe, and the world around you becomes increasingly terrifying. As you make your way down a corridor, you lay eyes on a familiar silhouette...

Ship: Nevra x Gardienne

TW: None

I was walking down the seemingly unending corridor hurriedly when I finally laid eyes on him. Nevra! He had honoured his promise: he came to rescue me! I felt my heart skip a beat. Its rythm quickly fastened. It was now beating furiously. "Gardienne!" He called out in surprise. Before I knew it, I was back into his arms. Waves of warmth washed over me as I savoured his embrace. I could never leave his side. Never. In the heat of the moment, I failed to notice his lips on mine: feverish at first, our kiss slowed down into languid movements. Nevra stood back and framed my face with his hands. "I came as soon as I knew. I can't believe I almost lost you, Gardienne. Not again. Not after everything." He quickly linked his hand to mine. "Come, we need to leave. Now. The others are waiting downstairs." He said walking towards the closest emergency staircase. I struggled to keep up with his pace. I couldn't tell you if it was due to the ensemble of emotions that had just washed over me, or if it was due to the sweet glances he sometimes threw my way, as if surprised, but content to finally have me back by his side. I didn't know what the future had in store for me, but with Nevra's hand in mine, I felt as though no obstacle could stand my way. Our way.

A/N: Not a request, just a very sudden blurb I wanted to write to share this headcanon I had in mind when thinking of our reunification with the LIs after episode 11.

Headcanon: It'd be really cool if after being separated from the group, we meet again with the LI in a dramatic reunion fashion. The usual "there she was! standing across the hallway! we ran into eachothers' arms! and I /knew/ that I never wanted to leave her side, ever again."

ANE episode 11 - Farewell kiss w/ Lance

(His arms reached around my chest, he pressed me against him.)

(I further pressed him against me, giving him back his kiss.)

(Our kiss has something infinitely sad, like a farewell kiss.)

(I had to gather all my will power to step away from his embrace.)

(I pushed it away with all the tenderness I was capable of.)

G: "Lance... I'll come back. I'll be back by tonight."

L: "I fully trust you. I'll be waiting for you."

(I took the time to look at him, a little while longer...)

WE'RE ADMINISTERED A SUBSTANCE THROUGH NEEDLES DURING A SURPRISE ATTACK (2/2)

Lance: "We tried to fight, but we struggled to move."

Lance: "Actually, I had difficulty seeing what was occuring."

Lance: "I saw them take Huang Chu in a car."

Lance: "I suppose they also took Mathieu and Leiftan."

Nevra: "Some got closer of us, and I was able to hit them."

Nevra: "They were going to shoot me when some people arrived."

Nevra: "Our attackers gave up on their attempts to kidnap us, too."

Nevra: "Before we could stop them, they climbed into the cars."

Nevra: "They left hurriedly. I even tried to run after them..."

Nevra: "But cars are too fast for me. They escaped."

(My head is spinning. It's a nightmare.)

REST OF SCENE (summary):

Lance saw Huang Chu being taken away in a car.

Lance assumes the same occured to Mathieu and Leiftan.

Lance says that the attackers were wearing the same insign seen on attackers from the Eel Guard’s forest.

Nevra was about to get shot when some people appeared and helped them against their attackers. 

The arrival of these people made the attackers give up on their attempt to kidnap Nevra and Lance. 

Lance claims that these people did not look particularly intimidating, to which Gardienne suggests that the attackers ran away because of the threat of the police being called by these same newcomers. 

Gardienne seems to believe these aren’t her father’s men, but the secessionists, and that there is a mole in her father’s organization. She comes to that conclusion because only her father and his men knew about her location.

Nevra asks Gardienne what happened during the meeting with Charles and she informs him that Charles knows who the attackers were. 

She explains that Charles is part of an organization that seeks to watch over portals to avoid the loss of humans into Eldarya.

She also mentions the group of members that quit the organization, the so-called secessionists, and who planned on going to Eldarya for unknown reasons.

Then they leave for Charles’ mansion, but not before Lance and Nevra telling Gardienne not to trust her father.

A/N (+ theory): It took me so long to type and translate the third part, only for Tumblr to eat it. I’m NOT doing that again, apologies :(. 

Also, I consider that the newcomers that helped ward off the attackers are from Gardienne’s mother’s organization. It was mentioned in episode 11, but I forgot its name. The reason Lance viewed them as not particularly intimidating is because they were either faeries or supported by faeries resources, which is why their build is not necessarily telling of their great abilities. In the same train of thoughts, I believe Charles’ men to have recognized the member of the “pro-faeries” organization, which is why they chose to retreat.
