Inspired by the events of current comics, but just for fun: if each member of the Maximoff family (twins and anyone else you want to include) got to have an individual temporary reunion with a dead character, who would you pick?
Let's assume, for argument's sake, that this meeting would be beneficial, healthy, and safe for all involved, which I definitely don't think is the case in Vision & Scarlet Witch.
I would like Wanda and Pietro to have a chance to see Django again. I think the character deserves to be revisited with more dignity and and sensitivity than he was given in the 70s. Quicksilver: No Surrender treated the character very well, but I've always been really bothered by how Wanda talks about his last moments in Scarlet Witch (2016). I'd really like to give him, and Marya, better closure. I think there is an opportunity for Django to appear in spirit, like Natalya, either on the Witches' Road or in the Witches' Underworld, since he did share his sister's magical gifts. It could be a good way to expand on the Maximoff family history and Scarlet Witch lineage. I also want to see Wanda return to the Witches' Underworld to make sure everything is going okay, and that Lore isn't abusing her power there. I don't believe that Wanda would feel comfortable consigning every witch who dies, including her own family, to an eternity of torment!
I'd Teddy to meet his birth parents somehow. I thought his time-travel reunion with Antalya in the Young Avengers Infinity Comic was perfect, and while I'd love to see more of her in the past, I don't want to mess around with her too much in the present. But Teddy's never actually met Anelle or Mar-Vell-- the guy he talks to in Young Avengers Presents: Hulkling was, unfortunately, a Skrull impostor.
Ages ago, I pitched post-Empyre BillyTeddy story involving the Mother virus coming back to terrorize the Alliance at R'Kll's behest. It's a really long post and I've been meaning to revise it-- the point is, Teddy has the opportunity to speak to the real Anelle for a few moments in the middle of all of Mother's weird resurrection business.
