Angel loki save me...
FUN FACT
The Archangel Gabriel has taken the alias of Loki not just in Supernatural but in the lore too. Which means, Matt Damon’s Loki from Dogma was actually Gabriel. Which means Matt Damon only played Loki once and also played an Archangel without ever knowing it. Do yourself a favor and do your research unless you want to make an idjit of yourself.
Happy Birthday @rabentochter !!!! I hope your day is chill!
I posted this AU headcannon last week and I'm still obsessed with it. I might work on this next, after my big bang fic is done! @teckmonky , I'm tagging you because angel Loki and demon Thor seemed like something you'd enjoy. <3 Plus, Thorki!
1. In the beginning, Laufey and Odin ruled the heavens, watching over humans, helping them grow. Their two sons, Loki and Thor, were head seraphim. They did everything together, until the Fall. Odin grew displeased with the mortals. How could they choose to live their lives in such sin? They needed order and structure. They needed to be taught the way to live properly. At this, Laufey disagreed. The mortals had their own lives. They should be allowed to make their own choices, even if they were bad. Even if they hurt their own futures. The future was theirs to shape, just as the heavens belonged to them, and the seraphim. The battle was arduous, but in the end, Odin and his usurpers was cast out from the heavens and forced to live beneath the humans, where it was always hot. Forced to rule where he had hidden his own daughter years and years ago. In his spite and anger, Odin forced Thor down with him, separating him from Loki and crippling Laufey and the seraphim in the process.
2. Without Thor, Loki felt like the light had gone out. What did the mortals matter without Thor? What did his own people matter when his light was gone? For a while, the angels walked among the humans, just to feel some happiness when their own realm was in such a depression. Loki spent his time staring down at the earth, not understanding how these insignificant humans could have changed his life so much. He would comfort those who prayed to the heavens, answer any prayers he could, because no one should have to feel as empty as he.
3. Thor found his new life too bright. Too full of fire and heat and blistering sunlight. There were no calming clouds, no gentle rain. His brother, his lover, ripped away and unable to temper the heat. And because there was no darkness to flee to, Thor created it in his very own heart. He grew to hate Odin and hatched his revenge. If he couldn’t return to his love, he would surround his father with the worst sorts of people to make up for the emptiness in his own soul.
4. When Loki first caught sight of Thor, he almost didn’t believe his eyes. Thor’s wings were burned, covered in ash and soot, and poorly cared for. Almost as if they were an afterthought, instead of something to be cared for. His skin looked blistered and burned, and his eyes held a darkness that hadn’t been there before. For the first time in centuries, Loki left the heavens to personally see to the cries of their flock. He came upon Thor in a poorly thatched house, twisting his hands around a man inside and whispering in his ear. Loki could see the darkness creeping out of the man’s soul and Thor looked straight at Loki, his gaze never wavering. “Leave this one to me. My father deserves such a wretch for all eternity.” Loki was shocked and covered his mouth with his hands when the man’s neck was snapped the next moment.
5. It was a few millennia before Thor settled long enough for Loki to find him. He had grown tired of collecting the souls his father detested so much and had taken to freezing Odin within his own prison, letting Hela rule over the wicked. His revenge was complete, but he was still banished. Even if he were not, Thor was no longer worthy of living within the heavens. He missed his family. He missed helping the souls on earth. Instead, he’d been judging them, looking for those who may have been beyond reach and who would most displease Odin. He had not been thinking of helping at all. He missed seeing new souls brought amongst the heavens, and especially missed Loki. Loki most of all. So when he finally arrived to float above the water with Thor, it was a balm to everything that had transpired. Loki was not light, he was shade. His brightness shadowed the flames and blocked out the harsh sun. When he wrapped Thor in his arms, Thor wept. And when Loki sung to raise the morning sun, Loki wept, too, for he had not brought forth the dawn with his song since Thor had been gone.

“Nora stood next to the beautiful, brilliantly lit Christmas tree, hung with both her and Claire’s old ornaments, as well as green and gold balls, red garland, and an endless number of lights. Her arms were crossed and she was staring at the demon with a raised eyebrow.
““I’m not going to fuck you just so you can make yourself jealous.”
”She added a little verbal english to the one word to emphasize the truth that both Loki and Gelusael hated to talk about.Loki cocked his head, his crimson eyes gleaming, a surprisingly soft smile showing a flash of his fangs which were longer and sharper now that there was no angel left in him.
““Not to make him jealous, precious,” he said, causing the truth to spin away from him. “He’s already so sick with jealousy it drips off of him. Really, the cat has been licking it off of the floor.”
“He put down the whiskey and gin cocktail he’d been sipping and sauntered to her. Yeah, it was only three steps, but he still managed to saunter, she thought.”

So, if I could make a request of anyone who is following me who likes this story or the first two in the series if they could reblog this, since I am apparently in Tumblr limbo while they review my apparently too naughtiness. Thanks.
“Nora sat up stretching, feeling nearly rested for the first time in weeks. Maybe months.
“That aqua regia was good stuff. Weird that she didn’t have a hangover.
“She also realized that her bed wasn’t listing slightly to the front or shifting precariously on the stack of books she was using in place of the broken leg. And that the sheets were fresh, also smelling faintly of lilies of the valley and incense - not a combination she’d smelled before but it was quite beautiful. They weren’t any sheets she recognized, nor the piles of fluffy pillows, all trimmed with gauzy flounces.
“Stretching more and confused, she noticed something else.
“Not only was her hair brushed and laying over her shoulders, perfect and gleaming like satin, but she was dressed in a long white nightgown made of the softest cotton, trimmed in swaths of silken lace, with a very high, buttoned neckline. It was made of acres and acres of material. It was like a highly romantic snuggy.”
“You look like an angel, Walks like an angel, Talk like an angel, ………………………… You’re the devil in disguise.”
