thats the thing about angels- 

you never see them coming. or you never knew they were there. there is no in between. because when you think about angels do you think of feathers and wings and glowing gowns? your wrong. when you think about angels think about brute strength. their halos are sharper than swords. think about pure holiness. your eyes will burn out of their sockets at first glimpse. they glow with rage. their wings carry sorrow that we would sink under. their backs ache. their halos hang low. they see it. they see us. they see all we broke.
