Cosmic Creepers, a College of Witchcraft, and Subsitutiary Locomotion
I watch too many films.
Rewatching Bedknobs and Broomsticks and laughing like a mad person.
It's one of the most underestimated Disney films.
Miss Price is so funny and lovely at the same time. She's not perfect like Mary Poppins, she's human. The scene where she trys to fly on the broom and then falls into the bushes gets me every time.
It's a brilliant film which has a central character that you should hate because she's so odd and mean to the children but she blossoms into a lovely motherly figure.
Miss Price is hilarious and Angela Lansbury plays her perfectly. Just the pure aspect of her character that she can't manage to turn things into toads, only rabbits, is genius.
I cannot see why this film was less popular than Mary Poppins.
Don't get me wrong. I am one of Julie's biggest fans but I also think that this film deserves a bit more recognition as a witty and wonderfully written Disney musical.
