TCM Reboots ARE GOOD, if we talkin trash we can all agree on the nightmare on Elm st reboot being a pile of flaming garbage
they really aren’t though. they’re generic. they forgot to give leatherface a personality. they didn’t have any interesting costume design OR set design to make them seem like TCM movies, or to add to the characters. When compared to the original it’s just fucking depressing, because you went from something that had personality and interest and you go to some drab ass
Hoyt is the only one who actually acts like a Sawyer but he’s not enjoyable to watch AT ALL. Drayton was a prick but he was fucking funny with his penny pinching and lightly smacking a girl with a broom. Nubbins was nuts but he had energy!! Bubba had so much emotion!!
Everyone in the reboot is mean spirited and it’s just a total boner kill to watch.
they took an endearing and ENTERTAINING character and fucking tried to make him pissy Jason Voorhees with a chainsaw.
also the guy who played LF is a fucking scumbag also but that’s less on the movie itself and just another personal reason why i can’t like thomas as a character.
and don’t even get me started on TCM 3D.
