Angel Dust could understand what Lucifer was saying - Heaven had completely cast him aside, when it sounded like he hadn't done anything inherently wrong. It was simply something that had threatened what they had wanted, and that was enough for banishment. Not to mention that Heaven had been allowing the exorcisms to happen, and not batting an eye.
Yet he also was confused, because from what he had heard, Lucifer wasn't the biggest fan of Hell either. Maybe it was just the sinners - the only humans that had come down because they had failed at the one lives they were given. Maybe he didn't mind the rest of Hell. Yet, it seemed like it was between the lesser of two evils. And honestly, Angel didn't know what that was at this point.
"Charlie believes in this cause." He stressed, mismatched eyes looking over at her father. "She wants us tah' get tah' Heaven. So ah' gotta believe that's f' a reason. That there's somethin' there that's better than....this."
