Bandai Taiwan Announces Spring 2025 Tamagotchi Original Shells

Looks like Bandai Taiwan has slowly announced all of the four new Tamagotchi Original shells for Spring, 2025! That’s Pink Treasure Jewel, Tama Smile, Angel Sky, and Angel Party which will soon be available! Be sure to look out for them!

Bandai Japan Brings 2 Western Tamagotchi Original Shells Over & Announces 4 New Tamagotchi Original Shells

New year, new shells! Bandai Japan has announced that they are bringing over two western shells that were released on December 1st, 2024 in the United States. These two shells are Pretty Party (P1) and Tama Picnic (P2), both adorable!

That’s not everything! They also announced four new Tamagotchi Original shells, with two of them being generation 3, angel programming!

First is Tama Smile, which is a cute blue shell featuring Marutchi all around the shell smiling and being cute and there’s also some green and pink flowers. The buttons are yellow, and the paint around the screen is a lighter blue. Featuring P1 programming.

Second is Pink Treasure Jewel, which looks very geometric! Featuring a clear pink shell with triangular shapes of pink, purple, and blue. The buttons are pink, and the paint surrounding the screen is a darker pink. Featuring P2 programming.

Let’s talk angels! First is the Angel Sky shell which is a gorgeous translucent blue, with white wings and buttons, along with a silver-ish blue color around the screen, the Tamagotchi logo and graphics around the display is in gold and silver. Really cute shell!

Second angel is the Angel Party, which features cute pastel colors, very Easter, with yellow, pink, and blue colors, along with some pink stars, along with white wings. Its cutesy.

All six Tamagotchi Original shells will be released in Japan on Saturday, March 8th, 2025 with reservations starting Friday, February 7th, 2025 for ¥3,080.

Bandai Namco US Announces Spring 2025 Tamagotchi Original Shells

New shells have just been announced by Bandai Namco US for spring 2025! Just as we predicted, two of the new shells are dedicated to generation 3 programming, angel, and there is one surprise!

First is Tama Smile, which is a cute blue shell featuring Marutchi all around the shell smiling and being cute and there’s also some green and pink flowers. The buttons are yellow, and the paint around the screen is a lighter blue. Featuring P1 programming.

Last is the surprise, it appears that the Stained Glass Winter shell, which was an in-store exclusive did really well, so there is now a Stained Glass Spring shell! Super cute sparkly semi-translucent green shell with Mametchi wearing a floral headband, and lots of pink flowers surrounding the display. Featuring P1 programming, and exclusively available in-store, meaning this is yet another shell you’re going to have to hunt for. We’ll bet theres a certificate inside the box too.

Priced at $19.99, available for preorder now on Amazon and set to be released on March 6th, 2025! This is just two weeks prior to spring, and we love how Bandai is incorporating the Angel’s into he Tamagotchi Original seasonal releases. Which shells are your favorite?
