¿ an unexpected hug.
Anytime Alfie hugged someone of his own free will, it was usually unexpected. He just didn't like people thinking him weak, needy, so he abstains from hugging, from physical affection in general, really.
But in a select few situations, he breaks down, goes in for the kill, and gets his hugs. When he was buzzed, not quite drunk, but past sober, that was when he was at his most cuddly.
Jim had just gotten back to Alfie's place, back from possession? Shopping? Something. Alfie didn't keep track, or care much anymore. The moment the door was, the blond had his arms around him, pressing his face against the older male's dumb trench coat.
"You're back. Just in time for the beer."

Whoah, tonight was busy. Who the hell spread the word about the bar this time? Eddie and the waitresses were constantly pouring drinks and delivering them, and he was starting to get a little worried -- so many people could only spell trouble sooner or later.
Thankfully, no such trouble occurred, and as the horde of patrons finally began to depart, someone new came in amid the crowd. Eddie waved awkwardly (as he was holding an armful of glasses to put in the sink), and when that was done headed over to where they'd sat at the bar. "Man, you're lucky. Just missed the crowd; ten minutes earlier and you wouldn't have been able to sit down. Anyway, what can I get you?"
