i'm gonna share a tiny little snippet from a WIP that i've been working on since august i need to finish it soon before i go crazy :D

Realisation dawns on Tommy; Buck can see it in the way his expression shifts. His smile fades, his mouth is pressed into a thin line as he drops his gaze to the table separating them. 

“I should go,” Tommy gets to his feet. “Sorry, I’ll…” he trails off for a second as he pushes his chair back into place and picks up his empty cup, sparing only the briefest of glances at Buck, seemingly taking no notice of the dumbfounded expression on his face.

“I’ll see you around, Evan,” Tommy says, and then he’s walking out of the cafe and disappearing out of view before Buck can even register what’s happening. 

Shit.

Buck bolts out of the cafe — stopping only to drop a twenty-dollar bill at the counter on his way out — and runs to the parking lot. By sheer luck, he manages to catch Tommy by his car, and he shouts out his name. 

Tommy freezes, his shoulders tensing and Buck knows he’s heard him. “Tommy, wait!” he shouts again as he slows his pace for the last few feet. Tommy very slowly turns around until they’re face to face.

some bobby pov thoughts!!

i love the headcanon that bobby is the first person tommy really comes out to. and he gives him a fantastic reference to harbour. he likes tommy and they get a drink sometimes after work to catch up, like once a month or so, so he's happy to have run into him! tommy's good people! tommy's responsible! actually, hey, it's great that they've run into him and that buck seems to be looking at tommy with stars in his eyes. buck is a good kid with his heart in the right place but he could stand to have some more good influences. he claps them on the shoulders and leaves them to chat while he goes to get himself a beer after buck and tommy decline wanting one—he's seen springsteen a few times before, last time he came to LA, even; he can handle skipping a song or two—and expects that they'll just talk about work for a bit. buck loves talking about firefighting, he's always asking other firefighters about techniques and rescues and all that.

imagine his surprise when he comes back twenty minutes later and he maybe has to roll his eyes and rethink the tommy's responsible thing a little bit when he notices that tommy's shirt has come untucked and buck's hair is a little messier than it was and they both start blushing furiously when they notice that he's back.

Since your gif requests are open, I was wondering if you could do one of the scene from 7x05 where Maddie asks Buck if he’s sleeping with a married woman, responds “No, I would never do that.” and the scene in 9x07 where Buck finds out the not-siblings are married. hiii! it's not actually korean, it's a 5-ep thai series :) it's from 'i promised you the moon' which is the sequel to 'i told sunset about you' (a.k.a one of my favourite shows of 2020, and possibly ever 💞)

it's a beautiful coming of age story set in idyllic phuket about childhood friends who drifted apart and then found each other again. i highly recommend!!

hiiii!!! i’ve seen a lot of people guess i deleted but that will never happen, not if i have anything to say about it. but yes i am back now and even though it was only 4 days it felt like FOREVER. and honestly everything felt so wrong and weird and i felt like i was having an existential crisis without my blog so i am SO glad it’s back 🫠 thank you for the message! i never want to make people sad but i’m not gonna lie and say knowing that people noticed i was gone didn’t mean everything to me.

EMMA THE LAST CHAPTER 🥹!! The scene of Buck at Tessa’s grave did make me shed a tear. Everything Buck said about him still wanting Tessa to be there and asking for her blessing for Tommy to be with him and Remy. “He’s really great with her. He’s really great with me, too.” UGH SHUT UP 😩😭 (affectionate). I just really love how you wrote about grief all throughout this fic. I have a feeling that if Tessa was still alive, and Buck had found out about Remy in a different way, they would have been such great co-parents. (Though, from the little info you gave about Tessa, I imagine she would have been stubborn—at first—about Buck trying to help all the time, like she was with Sara). The porn was great—as always—thank you so much for that 🙂‍↕️ (and for the entirety of this story because it was such a fucking gem; I love it so much 💖).

P.S. I am on 🧎🏽‍♀️ begging for a part two (but, obviously, take your time, no rush). I look forward to any other fics you’ll write in the future, too.
