my feminine rage knows no bounds
Positivity and fun memes are really really important for queer people but it’s also completely 100% OK to be frustrated and angry about your identity because no matter how much you love yourself and your identity, it’s still really hard to live in a world where that is not the norm and you don’t have to always accept that.
im not angry anymore
sometimes anger is many things all at once.
>> stream of consciousness; tw: anger issues.
You’re allowed to be mad at people for nothing, by the way. All those times that they stood by and just watched it happen to you matter. You can be angry. They hurt you however indirectly. They saw and they didn’t do anything and it is completely understandable if you’re pissed about that.
Go scream profanity. Don’t worry, I’ve got your back.
i have the rage of a straight white man. but i’m a woman so that makes it so much worse. like when men get mad they yell, scream, punch holes in dry wall, you know. but when women get mad we get vengeful. like i may not punch holes in dry wall but i’ll ruin your life.
Saying to a person with anger issues “stop being angry” when you KNOW they have anger issues is like telling a poor person to “just stop being poor” or a blind person to “open their eyes”. at this point you’re just gaslighting them. If you’re dealing with someone who got Anger issues : -Don’t ignore them -Listen to what they have to say -Don’t force opinions or advice on them -Give them space if they need it -”Can i speak now ?” “Calm down” is a no no These are the things that work on me and a few other friends in the same situation. I am no psychological professional, im just here to give advice about a subject i am familiar with.
