Witching hour
Now was the most wonderful time of the year. October was the month when Caroline’s powers were at their peak. Tonight was the one night of the year where she could reach the full extent of her powers. And since she was hosting the town party, she figured tonight would be her best chance at achieving her goal. She would finally summon a deity. But not before she had some fun with the rest of the town.
Caroline’s festive decorations were all a part of a very large, and very elaborate ritual. Caroline had painted the windows with charmed and charged summoning sigils. All around the diner, Caroline had strategically placed certain crystals, herbs, and bones. Rose quartz sat on each table to attract romantic and sexual energy, the most powerful kind. Calcite lay next to all the food to amplify the energy of the room. She had channeling crystals along the baseboards to focus all the energy of the room in one spot. She had what looked like plastic bones hanging from the ceiling. These bones served to strengthen the circle. For one final touch, Caroline had dandelion root elixir in all the drinks. Everything was ready. Now for some fun.
“I love dat costume, cher. How are we tonight?” Caroline said with fake, luring smile as she slinked over to a partygoer, “anythin’ I can do for you? Anything at all?”
