Thanks for this post! I have always used Krylon for my projects, but I think I will try one of your suggestions for my custom instead. Have you used Tamiya on enamel spray paint?

I couldn’t personally give you much advice with enamels, since I use acrylics, but there’s a great video on YouTube that can show you how a ton of different topcoats work. 

It’s a long video, but very informative.  He draws three lines on the spoons, and the top line is enamel-based, so that’s the one you’ll want to pay attention to. 

There aren’t many videos that get into the nitty gritty of nendo customization, but there are tons for gunpla, model kits, and D&D figures.  The shapes might be different, but the chemicals we use are all the same, so dive into those headfirst!  You’ll come away from them with a million new ideas for things to try with your Nendoroid customs!
