Mended
This crayon art is very dear to my heart. I had just started the book Mended by Angie Smith, and I was enjoying it so much. The first chapter absolutely touched my heart, and I knew that God was telling me to make this crayon art. The quote I have on here is; "There is no brokenness that God cannot make whole". And oh how true that is. God is a Healer, and He heals our brokenness.
In the first chapter, Angie describes how God was healing her through the loss of her child. He told her to break a vase, and she did. Then He told her to glue it back together, and she did. And she realized that this is what God does for us; He mends us back together. No matter how broken we feel we are, He makes us whole. He fills in the broken pieces of our cisterns with His love, and we are made whole. So, friends, remember that no matter how broken you feel your cistern is, God can and will make it whole, if we trust in Him completely.
