Sweater collar mend

Thrifted this sweater for $3 and immediately ripped the back of the collar when I washed it. There are probably better and prettier ways to mend this, but I just ironed on some interfacing and secured it with a few stitches.

First semi-successful hemming done! (I actually finished cropping and hemming this top yesterday but shhhhhhh)

Ignore how crumpled/wrinkles it is, I’ve been wearing it lol, but I’m genuinely proud of how this turned out! It’s a little messy but it looks basically exactly how I wanted and it fits how I’d like and, AND!! Raising my arms doesn’t flash everyone around me! Which is a win since the last time I made a crop top lol!

The damage suffered will be undone. The way her body had worn out began to reverse and change about - healed her bones, mended her knees, her shoulders, her back, her feet. All the things others had stolen from her being were restored to her double. Breath of life filled her up, made her new, refilled what was lacking, regrew what was missing. Ever forming newness within her, filling her up from the endless chamber of life-giving power.
