My interpretation of 'Caedmon's Hymn' which was written around 670AD in my home town of Whitby, was carefully posted yesterday. It'll be flying over 5,000 miles to its new home in California. Despite the distance, during the process I've enjoyed a lovely correspondence with the buyer, a lady who loves Tolkien, CS Lewis, Anglo-Saxon history and...cats!
