I always cut the snippet of a song in the most random place where even i often don't know where i was going with this... 🫠That's probably why the Moon is always angry! 😵‍💫I can't get it to behave! This is why I called it a me-moth, haha. I think that was my 25th birthday tattoo, done by Mike Groves at Pain & Wonder.

Also pictured: my very first tattoo, the green dragon, done by someone (sorry) at Angry Moon Tattoo in Pittsburgh on my 18th birthday. The image was based off of this book cover for Anne McCaffrey’s Dragonsong. My Dad got me into those books when I was little. Last time I visited my birthdaughter, she was telling me all about the How to Train Your Dragon series, and I told her I used to read these Dragonriders books when I was little and she proceeded to rattle off the plots of some McCaffrey books I haven’t even looked at since I was a kid! Right in the feels, man! So whereas I have for many years thought this was such a dumb tattoo and had been plotting to get rid of it somehow, I am now very proud of it.

The black cat was my third tattoo, also done by someone at Angry Moon when I was 18 or 19. My best friend drew it for me and I drew her a lizard for her first tattoo.
