Granny Weatherwax!
OMG
Why I like them: She is badass (in fact she literally lives there!)
Why I don’t: This shouldn’t count as something I don’t like, but one of her character flaws is that she has to be The Best and she needs her ego propped up a bit. On the other hand she really earns her pride through intensely hard work. “Granny was an old-fashioned witch. She didn’t do good for people, she did right by them.”
Favorite episode (scene if movie): MMMM I love Wyrd Sisters and I love Witches Abroad–and I LOVE Carpe Jugulum. I think I’m going to say the scene in Carpe Jugulum when she has to make a choice and she confronts herself. “I knows what you are, Esmerelda Weatherwax, and I ain’t scared of you anymore.”
Favorite season/movie: I’ll go with Carpe Jugulum but ALSO Wyrd Sisters and Maskerade and Witches Abroad. And also A Hat Full of Sky.
Favorite line: SO MANY. “Sin is when you treat people as things.”
Favorite outfit: She only has one, and it’s black.

Head Canon: After Carpe Jugulum, the Quite Reverend Mightily-Praiseworthy-Are-Ye-Who-Exalteth-Om Oats stays in touch with Granny, sending her long letters. She doesn’t ever reply but she does get a dictionary so she can understand them :P
Unpopular opinion: The thing that happened in The Shepherd’s Crown should not have happened but it was also good that it happened?
A wish: To someday write characters with the kind of depth and dimension that Granny Weatherwax has.
An oh-god-please-dont-ever-happen: The worst has already happened and there won’t ever be any more Discworld books and NOW I AM SAD AGAIN
