HAPPIEST OF BIRTHDAYS TO YOOOUUU 🎂 have a fantastic day today xxx
Thank you, Jen!! 😁
Okay, this isn’t a fic that needs more attention, really, but I’m having a crappy time lately and want attention, dammit. :p So for @jenniferjuni-per ‘s giveaway, I’m self-rec’ing Baby, You Need To Come Home (and the series as a whole) to motivate myself to finish the sequel.
But another fic, that is not mine but needs more love always, is Then by @thestarbirdfromtheashes !
Everyone should have something to think about as they fall asleep. What I’m thinking about is that I hope @jenniferjuni-per agrees with me that my 2nd Rogue One fic, which is 10 pages of a Cassian backstory that I started in April, is bad and should not be resurrected. Otherwise I am going to have to regret mentioning it to her. You people saw my post about Smut Shark, right?!
24-27 for fanfic writers meme
24) Favorite Scene you’ve ever written: I had to think on this one for a minute because in the last few months I have written almost 100k words for this fandom and all I’ve written tends to get a little jumbled in my head, honestly. But, looking back over my writing, I have to say the scene in Once Upon a Disaster where Cassian attempts to kick Jyn out of “his” table at the library and they end up reading e.e. cummings together really hits me. Probably because I love the poem they end up reading there (”connotation of infinity” by e.e. cummings, if you’re curious) and I think it fits them incredibly well…
connotation of infinity
sharpens the temporal splendor of this night
when souls which have forgot frivolity
in lowliness, noting the fatal flight
of world whereto this earth’s a hurled dream
down eager avenues of lifelessness
25) Favorite line you’ve ever written: Much like with the answer to the last question, it’s hard for me to choose this! However, if I had to chose one, I’d pick this line from Chapter 3 of Luctor et Emergo:
“I can’t take that, Papa. That’s—that’s your piece of Mama.”
Papa gave her a sad smile before kneeling to her height again. “No, Stardust, that would be you.”
26) Story you’re most proud of: I answered this one here!
27) Best review you ever got: I have gotten so many amazing reviews over the last few months, honestly, it’s so hard to pick a favorite. I would say really any review that’s long, is in all caps, or quotes their favorite lines qualify as some of the best. Though I also have to call out @thenewleeland for this amazing review he gave me in response to this six sentence fic
Curious about my writing? Send me an ask :)
Thank you. All the hugs to you :)
Just wanted to find out if the deadline dates were a typo on the Secret Valentine post? It has January 12 and 14, respectively. Were these supposed to be February 12 and 14?
Thanks for the question! I hope you don’t mind that we’re replying publicly, just in case anyone else is confused.
The sign ups are open until January 12th, and then you receive your assignment (aka who you’re making a gift for and what their prompt is) on January 14th. That leaves you with a month to make your gift :)
Hope that helps!

💭 - Any favorite head canons/ theories?
Like what was discussed earlier today, I am 100% onboard with Elsa being a workaholic who has to be DRAGGED away from her paperwork by Anna to have some fun, because for Odin’s sake you work too much Elsa! And it would be fun if this turned out to be canon in F2.
Elsa: *has fallen asleep on her desk*Anna: “ELSA LOOK OUTSIDE! IT SNOWED!! DO YOU WANNA BUILD A SNOWMAN?”Elsa: “mmphm?”
So, how many of you attacked the Fire Nation on Monday? 😛
I, alas, did not. First day back at CC means the first week of the Nightmarish Parking Dance, which is where you fall in line with all the other parking vultures and circle the parking lots for hours waiting for a space to open. (Which is a LOT less coordinated than I just made it sound...) Monday's time was 1 hr 45 min, leaving me barely 5 min to get to class. Fortunately, the Nightmarish Parking Dance only lasts a couple of weeks, and then it settles down to a mere Annoying Parking Dance, like Walmart on a weekend. 😅
(In case any of you missed this post, I really actually wanted feedback on my split blog idea.)
(Also, to those of you who've sent me "5 happy things" asks in the last week or so: don't worry, I got them! I'll get to them soon.)
Anyway, now it's time for me to attempt to answer all your wonderful replies to my appreciation post... under a read more cause it’s crazy long. 😂
