hear me out pendio au (with future odypendio) where it's been 7 years since the Trojan War ended and Penelope continues to refuse the proposals being sent her way and the advice of her council to remarry. As The suitors start arriving at the palace there's an attempt on Telemachus' life where he nearly dies.

Everyone knows that this was done to force Penelope's hand into marriage – though no one knows which prospective suitor it is. Tensions rise high in Ithaca and Penelope leaves (more like is forced to leave) back to her father's palace in Sparta because she is terrified that she has become a danger to Telemachus' life.

Laertes returns to court and politics and takes over the role of regent (he makes a promise to penelope to wait until telemachus' 20th year to handover the throne to him), meanwhile Penelope is entirely distraught sitting in Sparta – which is in the middle of it's own succession crisis with the absence/assumed death of Menelaus (and now the death of Clytemnestra + destability in Mycenae).

anyway diomedes marries penelope to protect her, in fear of another round of the suitors at sparta – and icarius hands him his throne (and Tyndareus menelaus' because he is too old rule now and thinks menelaus is dead)

If Sandboy scans Marinette the city would instantly turn into a post-apocalyptic wasteland, Ladybug’s and Chat’s miraculous: in Hawkmoth’s possession, everyone she knows: dead or brainwashed, the epitaph on the tombstone of her dead crush would read: Marinette was just a friend.
