Tinsel & Tine #MiniMovieReview Every where I look I see #Quests & #gods recently got hooked on @magicianssyfy , just saw Percy Jackson & The Lightening Thief Musical & #KidWhoWouldBeKing opens tomorrow (1/25). Message? Or just need to stop watching so GD much Sci-Fi? I was worried marrying something so timeless and classic as the story of King Arthur and the Knights of the Roundtable to something so contemporary, would be ill-conceived. However, I think they pulled it off - for some reason, the use of contemporary pop culture references to Game of Thrones and Lord of the Rings, somehow made these kids journey more believable, although I'm not sure why. The young Merlin is wonderful! Will definitely be looking out for more from #AngusImrie.
