He’s old. Very old. Older than God. And now he’s a pony!

First portrayed by Julian Richings(who will always be my favorite actor in anything to play Death, in no small part because of his love of greasy food). I had to make him a pale horse because ya know. The Bible. But I think the more limited color palette really suits the character!

His cutiemark being mostly hidden by his wings is a happy coincidence. He could very easily explain it away of course, scythes are crop harvest tools first and foremost, I think he would just prefer the privacy/secrecy.

Maybe I’ll do Billie-Death in future as well!

As part of my job I’m making some anatomy diagrams I can show people to talk about where animals have different body parts and what they’re called. This one is almost complete and since I’m super proud of it, I’m sharing it here! This is an Atlantic horseshoe crab

Very excited to share this guy with y’all! Making ponies(and pony adjacent creatures lol) is something that brings me a lot of joy, and I am SO HAPPY(!) with how Gum as a reformed changeling turned out!

Gum is a Gith’yanki BG3 character belonging to my buddy @piipaw 🖤

I wanted to pick a unique type of creature for Gum, since Gith’yanki are kind of like aliens. Changelings felt like a good choice! It was a bit challenging compared to ‘standard’ ponies in some ways, such as figuring out how to get the character’s design across, but somewhat easier in other ways! Making cutie marks is fun but stressful tbh, and designing manes and tails is a nightmare for me. In the end I think he looks amazing!

So for work I keep a journal with basic facts about some of our animals in case I get asked a question and don’t remember the answer off the top of my head. In order to help keep from confusing similar looking/similarly named animals, I also try to do a simple drawing of what the animal looks like. These are by no means masterpieces. But I’m quite proud of them! And so I wanted to share them here. Plus my bonus spider anatomy diagram because I think everyone should know that the main part of a spider’s body is called a cephalothorax because it’s such a fun word to say

Kevin Tran; Prophet of The Lord.

The newest Supernatural pony is complete! Kevin here no longer has his cutiemark, instead he was magically ‘branded’ with a mark denoting his new role. His eyes, once a warm brown, are now a pale yellow.(Wooo! Lore!)

Shout out my friend for helping me finally finish the next Supernatural pony! Kevin here originally had a neutral grey coat and it just wasn’t working. But I was then reminded that the ponies. Are often. Very colorful. Super happy with how he’s turned out tho, now off to the next one!
