I get the feeling the main reason Anidori and Ida were laughing here is because Rapunzel giving Cassandra a spirit bracelet is kinda trival. Socially, it's like giving your dog a new outfit or toy.

That being said, a little fishy that they decided to make the black princesses the bitchy mean girls here.

What if Anidori, the Goose Girl, has echolalia, and that's why she's so incredible at mimicking accents? If I remember right, she did it a lot when she was a kid, and she's always pointing out tiny things about how people sound in her thoughts.  I think it would make a lot of sense.
