Sirens of the Lambs - Banksy
The ‘King of Streetart’ made a return to the road with this project. This truck made multiple appearances all around the world, including locations such as New York City and Glastonbury, having been labelled a ‘moving sculpture’.
This piece of art was a truck full of shrieking cuddly animals being ‘taken to slaughter’, drove around. This piece of work was designed to highlight the issue of animals being farmed for their meat, but without the usual, depressing consequences.
This form of art is completely our there, grabbing endless attention, in particular children, as they ran behind it on the streets, not realising the cruel story behind this. Methods like this would be interesting to explore in the fashion industry.
