Guess who’s alive :^)
Song is When Words Fail from Shrek the musical! It’s just a work in progress for now (it has been for nearly two months) but I do plan on finishing this!

The Iron Giant is one of my favorite animated films for a number of reasons, but it consists of the following: -A very strong understanding of the setting and time period, with xenophobia, fears of a nuclear holocaust and the Red Scare figuring heavily in the plot -It's a hand-drawn film that feels distinctly UN-Disney, up there with foreign films in this respect -It has a perfect balance of lighthearted moments and drama -The message of the film has a lot of relevancy -The animation and the visual style is breathtaking. I suggest any up and coming animator or filmmaker worth their salt to watch the film.
You helped me reach for the dream
I remember the first time I saw Monty's Final Dead Fantasy series. I was so excited, but I was even more impressed that he did it all himself. In my dA account, before stuff happened and I ended ip deactivating it, I remember he took the time to reach out to me and give me advice on animating. I can't remember his exact words--it was so long ago, but I know it was he who helped inspire me to push for my dream. Gosh, it's so weird... Rest in peace, Monty Oum, and thank you for everything.
Is it just me or is Robin the hottest animated character?
