Folks over on the Instagram seemed to have liked this one.
Playing with having one long-lens master shot and then cutting in close to get compositions. Tried not to rely on action poses, low angles or skewed perspective. Is as much a composition exercise as it is an attempt to get the drawings to do most of the walking rather than angle tricks on medium to close-up shots, which I tend to rely on a bit too much.
Some illustrations and exploratory beatboards recalling the early early college years back at the Allan Hancock animation department. Besides some cameos by friends, additional characters may not be accurate, but regardless they all played a role in developing my interest and inspiration in doing what I do now.
As always, more can be found on Instagram.
